Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to discover beauty products on Truemuse, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Keyboard access, visible focus and a "Skip to content" link
- Text alternatives for images and labeled form fields
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA
- Layouts that work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens
- Accessibility checks as part of building each feature
Known limitations
Product images and descriptions come from brands, and some may lack detailed descriptions. Scan is in the Truemuse app and uses your phone's camera; you can always type a product name or barcode number instead. Lumi works with text, so you can use it with a screen reader.
How we check
We test pages with automated accessibility tools and by hand, using a keyboard and a screen reader, in light and dark colors. Some third-party content, such as a brand's video, is outside our control. If a page doesn't work for you, tell us and we'll give you the information another way, such as by email.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on Truemuse is hard to use, please contact us or email contact@truemuse.us. Tell us the page and what happened, and we'll reply within one business day.
